BIA consultant visited Põltsamaa Co-Educational Gymnasium to meet young entrepreneurs

The students of PÜG will be graduating this year. An important part of their education is compiling a business plan as part of their in-depth entrepreneurship studies. At the end of the school year, the students will also be defending their business plans in front of an expert panel.
BIA consultant Andra visited Põltsamaa on 8 April 2018 and spent the day teaching 11 and 12 grade students. With the 11th grade students, who will begin preparing their business plans next year, BIA discussed the processes behind developing new products and services, did a few brainstorming exercises and discussed the success stories from the Estonian start-up arena.

The seniors, who are close to completing their business plans, got individual feedback for each plan and tips and recommendations for improving them. In addition, several group work projects were done, business plans and startup processes discussed and the students had a change to ask questions about whatever interested them. BIA was also invited to the business plan defense in May to be a part of the expert panel.
